my photography journey started in high school when I asked my parents for a fancy digital camera. my dad had other thoughts. he dug around in his closet, pulled out what I thought was a relic (his Canon A-1 that he used to shoot weddings with back in the day) and told me to get him 10 decent rolls worth of photos before he would buy me a digital camera. with ‘decent’ being very loosely defined, I went through those 10 rolls and then some. my love for film photography was ignited and has been ongoing ever since.
